This Colt 1902 Sporting was shipped to Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Company in Chicago, Illinois on May 22nd, 1907 in a 5 gun shipment.
The 1902 was very similar to the Colt model 1900 and continued the serial number range while the 1902 Military has it's own range. They were in production from 1902-1908 and had roughly 7,000 units produced. It features a 7 round magazine.
