This Colt 1903 was shipped to the Standard Brothers in Detroit Michigan on May 19th, 1913 in a 12 gun shipment. This is a considered a type III pistol that features an integrated barrel bushing and a 3 3/4" barrel. It shows the early high polish blue finish, fire blue trigger, thumb safety, grip screw, magazine release, extractor and slide plug.
The rampant colt at this point had changed from being encased in a circle to standing alone. The hard rubber grips are considered to be type II with the Colt logo written out and the rampant colt behind a large "C" for colt.
