The Colt Model 1902 was developed by John Browning and produced by Colt.  It is an 8 round (Military Model) and 7 round (Sport Model), semi-automatic pistol that has a detachable magazine.  The Colt 1902's were produced from 1902 through 1928.  They were available in the Military Model which featured a larger capacity magazine and swivel lanyard loop, while the Sporting Model featured the smaller capacity magazine.
