This Colt 1908 Vest pocket was shipped to the Wyeth Hardware & Mfg. Company in St. Joseph, Missouri on February 15th, 1915 in a 25 gun shipment.
This little 25 features Colt's fine brushed blue finish and square top type 2 rubber colt grips. The trigger, thumb and grip safety are case colored. The slide features the smaller roll die and the rampant colt is standing on the open globe. The Serial number font used is the 3rd type.
This pistol also has a relatively clean early box. Although there is no number on the bottom of the box.
