This Colt .22-45 Conversion Unit Kit was shipped to Company L, 13th Infantry at the Presidio of San Francisco, CA on January 23rd, 1939 in a single piece shipment. Presidio is a former U.S. Army military fort on the norther tip of the San Francisco Peninsula. Congress voted to end the active status as a military installation on October 1st, 1994.
This Conversion Unit is finished in it's factory blue and includes the original parts including the barrel and floating chamber with the electric pencil marking the serial number.
