The 1964 National Match pistols were the only year where the Drake slides were utilized for assembly. The left side of the slide is numbered NM 7791435 while the right side is marked "DRAKE MFG. CORP.".
Records show that in 1964 800 pistols were assembled by Springfield Armory. While only 195 of these pistols were sold through the DCM.
