This Colt Pocket Positive was shipped to the John Pritzlaff Hardware Company in Malwaukee, Wisconsin on January 16th, 1912 in a 5 gun shipment. It features Colt's high polish blue finish with fire blue small parts. It has a 3 1/2" barrel and is chambered for .32 CTG. The 32CTG was essentially a .32 S&W Long but due to marketing concerns of Colt not wanting "S&W" stamped on the barrel they are stamped "32 Colt Ctg"
The Colt Pocket Positive was developed from the New Pocket Revolver and ultimately would be replaced by the Detective Special and Police Positive Special.
