This Colt Python was shipped December 21st, 1984. It was shipped to the Employee Sale Department at Colt Firearms at 150 Huyshope Avenue, Hartford, Connecticut. The factory letter mentions this Colt was shipped for Colt Employee, F.S. White.
The factory letter notes the finish as being blue, but the hammer, cylinder, cylinder latch and trigger are finished in Nickel.
This Python is what collectors refer to as a "Pinto Python". The factory letter in the Special Notation lists this as a "Used Gun". There was supposedly 5 or 6 of these Colt Python's that left the factory and sold to Colt Employees in this configuration.
