This Colt Pocket Hammerless is a first year example of the 1908. It was shipped to Von Lengerke and Antoine of Chicago, Illinois on August 10th, 1908 in a 15 gun shipment. It features Colt's high polish finish with fire blue small parts. This is considered a Type 2 variation of Colt's model M pistols.
The Type 2 pistols featured a 4" barrel with separate barrel bushing. The thumb safety has a retaining screw on the right side. Grips are the first type hard rubber.
