This Colt 1908 Vest Pocket was shipped to Shreve & Barber in San Francisco, California on April 4th, 1928 in a 10 gun shipment.
This Colt has a factory fine brushed blue finish with square top walnut checkered grips. This pistol is a bit of an oddity as it has forward facing flush medallions on both sides. This practice of having the medallions forward facing ended around July of 1924 at around serial number 350,000. Colt was notorious for not throwing anything away as these grips or medallions could have been found after the change had taken place.
