This Colt 1908 Vest Pocket features Colt's high polish blue finish and the early type 1 hard rubber grips. The trigger, thumb safety and grip safety are case colored while other parts are fire blued.
This Colt 1908 Vest Pocket was shipped to the Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Company in Chicago, Illinois on May 7th, 1912 in a 25 gun shipment.
The left and right hand side of the slide were using a larger roll mark. Shortly after the production of this pistol Colt started using a new roll die to mark the slides.
