This Colt 1903 Pocket Hammerless was shipped to the Birmingham Arms & Cycle Company in Birmingham Alabama on November 18th, 1909 in a 6 gun shipment. It was sent back to the factory to be refinished roughly somewhere around 1914 due to the 1914 address which has all periods in the dates rather than than the commas as before.
The upper right side trigger guard is marked with a "K" indicating a factory refinish or repair. This pistol would have been completed with colts high polish finish originally.
Another interesting thing to note is the factory deluxe checkered walnut grips with the deep dish medallions. Deep dish medallion grips didn't start making their way onto pistols until late 1913.
