This Colt 1908 Vest Pocket features Colt's high polish blue finish and the early type 1 hard rubber grips. The trigger, thumb safety and grip safety are case colored while most other parts are fire blued.
This pistol was shipped to the Iver Johnson Sporting Goods Company in Boston Massachusetts on November 7th, 1911 in a 10 gun shipment.
The left and right hand side of the slide were using a larger roll mark. Shortly after the production of this pistol Colt started using a new roll die to mark the slides.
