This Colt 1908 Vest Pocket was shipped to the Iver Johnson Sporting Goods Company in Boston, Massachussetts on July 23rd, 1912 in a 10 gun shipment.
It features Colt's high polish blue finish with Colt's type 1 hard rubber grips. The thumb safety, grip safety and trigger are a very soft case color while the other small parts are mostly fire blue finished.
The roll mark used on the left hand side of this slide was changed around 68,000. As you can see from the previous pistol it's a much smaller font and less overpowering.
The roll mark used on the right hand side of this slide is also a smaller font. This change was believed to happen around serial number 62,000.
