This Colt 1903 Pocket Hammerless pistol was shipped to the Sportsman Supply Company of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania on June 4th, 1930 in a 5 gun shipment. It features Colt's fine brushed blue finish and factory checkered walnut grips.
The medallions during this period had a very pronounced dot pattern which came right up to the horses back and mane. Then in 1930, another batch of medallions had to be ordered. In the new batch there was a small but quite noticeable empty gap between where the dot pattern ended and where the horses mane and back began. The 1930 .32 shown here exemplifies the point at which this change in medallions took place. The new medallions then continued to be used through the end of the 1930s.
