This Colt 1908 Vest Pocket was shipped to W.S. Brown, Inc. of Pittsburg, PA on December 30th, 1940 in a 3 gun shipment. It features Colt's fine brushed blue finish and flat top flush medallion grips. The trigger, grip safety and thumb safety are case colored. Includes the maroon blue label box that has the matching serial number located on the bottom.
This pistol is believed to be the last day of production for the 1908 vest pocket prior to Colt stopping production on the vest pocket's before ramping up for the war effort.
