This Colt 1908 Vest pocket was built in 1913. It features Colt's high polish blue finish with round top deep dish pearl grips with forward facing medallions.
This pistol was shipped to the Walter G. Clark Company in Omaha, Nebraska on October 15th, 1913 in a 5 gun shipment.
This pistol features the 4th style of roll mark for the left side of the slide. Note when comparing to the earlier serial numbers this font is quite a bit smaller. The rampant colt on the rear of the slide is also standing on a partially visible globe. The right side will have a smaller inscription as well.
The font used on this pistol was Colt's 2nd type. Note the slant on the serial number when compared to the earlier versions.
