This Colt Model 1905 was shipped to Colt's Patent Fire-Arms Mfg. Co's London Agency in London, England on May 10th, 1906 in a 20 gun shipment.
The top of the slide is inscribed "Cogswell & Harrison Ltd. 144 New Bond St. & 226. Strand London." Cogswell & Harrison was a manufacturer and dealer of firearms in the UK. It was common practice that pistols that they imported they would mark as such.
