This Colt Police Positive was shipped on the Loan Account to the Tritch Hardware Company in Denver Colorado on November 24th, 1926 in a single gun shipment. Remarks on the letter note that the Subject revolver was returned to the factory on January 30th, 1930 and then shipped on Loan Account to Wolf and Klar in Ft. Worth, Texas on March 16th, 1932. At this time the description included on the notation "Engraved by Glahn".
The letter states that this pistol left the factory as a 4" Police Positive, it is our belief that after this Colt was returned to the factory to be engraved, the pearl grips and shortened barrel were added. It was then reshipped back out to Wolf and Klar for them to use for display and showcasing.
